I agree and from everything I have been told, I would not be surprised to see Bass get the majority of the carries come the Iowa game

Bass has had more vigor this year because of everything he has overcome, he looked real good in practice and he is going to make some plays. A Rob is a good back too, but too many people are drinking the A Rob and AA tea, yes they are good, yes they will probably start. However, the men behind them will also be forceful and will probably steal some hearts throughout the season.

"They really understand the concept of what we are trying to do. We as a staff can now focus more on technique and they really get the big picture in regards to the plays that we come up with. Instead of having to explain a word or formation the concepts have been established. Once we give it to them they just go out and execute the plays"

Great to hear!

Harriet Michaels: Do you actually like haggis?
Charlie Mackenzie: No, I think it's repellent in every way. In fact, I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare.

From everything I have heard AA has just been better. Especially in the last week.

Right now Guyer looks better kicking field goals, which surprises me

33, what are your thoughts about how big of a factor Jeremiah Schwartz will be particularly in short yardage situations?

Guyer has the slight lead and has been number one on the depth chart for over a week or so

Is he leading handling all the kicking duties, or just place kicking? I for one would rather see one guy handling everything.

I'm not 33...but in talking to Travis this last weekend - he said Schwartz is one guy most people on the team don't want to tackle.

Good for Schwartz.

He also said there are some young heavy-hitters on the defense, notably in the secondary. Got rather excited talking about it.

To be expected from a Gene Chizik coached team if you know his history as a DC.

I expect that we will be playing 2 QBs all season long. I also expect that Bates will be on the field at other positions when Arnaud is at QB.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Word. I have nocturnal emissions involving Bates lined up at WR, and running a reverse/pass. Should've done it more with Flynn.

RIP #27 and #2

I'll order up another shot of sin, I'm running twice as hard into the wind, I'll hitch a ride when the next one comes in, fell off the wagon again...
