Well my point was that he is trying to create a little more fan enthusiasm prior to kickoff. If you don't need that then that is fine, but I enjoy it.

Also, it takes one person to start a chant, so why not have it choreographed at a time that makes for a cool team entrance sequence?

That's fine, just have him get the Cyclone-Power chant going and keep it going until the players have entered (and a little after).

I've got an even better sollution (although that one is pretty good) This will never happen, but split the student sections 50/50 on the NE and NW corners. That way it's all students responding to students. It works at hilton on opposite ends of the court. The problem of course is students will complain about being in worse seats and West siders will be mad about being moved.
