Training Camp Central: August 21st

"This marks the final cyclones.com practice report for 2008 fall training camp."

Looks like that's the last we might hear/see until Thursday night.

It's a powder keg ready to explode. The tone will be set early and it will be obvious by half time that Iowa State Football is making a statement...It's Division I football! It's the Big 12!

Re: Training Camp Central: August 21st

I was born in Brookings, SD, grew up in northeast SD, attended SDSU for two years and was pretty good friends with one of the best players to come out of SDSU, I graduated from USD. I have a pretty good idea what football is like at SDSU and in SD in general. SDSU is not prepared for this. The fans will think it's neat to be playing in front of such a big crowd, but we are going to come out and punch them square in the mouth, over and over again. By the end of the first quarter the adrenaline that was pumping through the SDSU players veins will be replaced with lactic acid, their playbook will be abandonded in order to throw deep and try to stop the bleeding, SDSU will have a feeling of being overwhelmed with no way to escape. Halftime will be a welcome relief from the beating until stiff joints are forced to take that long walk back onto the field enveloped by the deafening cheer of 49,000 fans demanding to see more punishment. Jack Trice is our colosseum, Cyclones are our warriors.
