It sucks, but that is how it will continue to be.

So... We keep moving people up?? Then why donate to the proper level??
We can't leave those seats empty.
We can't move people up.
Solution, fill them up with mini packs. If the donors can't understand this, then we should take them back to simple economic classes and show them how we are falling behind.
Our facilities need the improvements, that requires money. It's sad how people would rather see us fall behind and be the addorable "losers" then bucking up and helping out. I think part of the problem is most of our fans are also CUB fans. No offense, but for the longest time they didn't mind losing.
I hate to see ISU's slow death to the MAC Conference.
Why are people so inept with this?? If you want a competitive team that can compete with the big boys, then you need money.
I think season tickets will depend more on wins and loses Monty. If we win people will show up. If not, well thats sad.
I still can't wait for $1 ticket night and nickel beer night.
Ohhhh... to the fans... "I donated more then you have, or ever will"
Get a life. Please move on. Your argument is old and disturbing. Your not any better then us younger fans. Your not special. JP doesn't need to run this athletic program with you folks in mind.
Listening to the coaches show tonight, he realizes the younger fans and families are the future and is working on that.
My experience in life and in my job in agriculture is that we cater to the younger population cause the older segment is stuck in their ways and too stuborn to change. I'm sick of, "I've been doing this 40 year now, and I'll do it 40 more if I'm still around". Time keeps moving, things keep changing. If you don't jump on board your getting left behind.
Sorry for the rambling people, but this argument is old and I finally boiled over.
Re: Season Ticket Thermometer
As someone stated earlier, why not seat the stadium to demand, not some predetermined sections that don't get filed. Simple economics eh... pay less for better seats. Makes sense to me.

We can't just simply divide a section in half and expect people with 2 different donor levels to co-exist. We had this problem for many years until this one. Before this year you would read about people complaining about non donors having season ticket in donor seats.
A small difference this year, you have someone not donating beside you, but they only have the ticket for 1 game. Not the whole season. 1 game=big deal
Paying less for seats makes sense to the consumer. It really doesn't make sense for the athletic department. They are trying to stay away from that.
