Directv will start carrying Mtn on August 27 according to the home page of Mtn. Good news for those of us not going to the UNLV game in person. It will require a subscription to the SportsPack to get it in Iowa.

if the Mountain West can get a network, the Big XII can. We just dont need to be greedy little bastards like the lil 11. I'd buy it on the sports pack.

The difference being mountain west network isn't really much of a risk, since their contracts were pretty small in the first place.

It's one thing to walk away from a few million and strike out on your own. It's a whole different ballgame to walk away from hundreds of millions.
