    Ticket Question

    I was looking for tickets to buy on various sites online and I noticed on every site they were selling tickets in section I and the description was goal line. I have never seen a section I at the stadium or on any seating charts. So does anyone know about tickets in this area and if so how good/bad are they?

    looking at seating chart and I don't see section I either not sure where that would be.

    Makes sense.

    FYI - I just tried the Cyclones.com ticket screen and got 4 in Sec M, row 21. That's maybe 10-20 yd line, ISU side.

    I'd recommend just calling the ticket office Monday and picking seats.

    You can tell the difference between the Section 1 and Section I. Here is where I saw them. If you scroll down to the bottom it says "Unmapped Tickets" and thats where this so called Section I is. It also shows hillside tickets and Field tickets, and I know where those areas are, its just this Section I.

    I just checked ticketmaster and you can get seats in section M row 21, about the 30 yard line, for $40. This is a priority section that requires a $100 donation -- so you'll have a better seat than season ticket holders who don't donate $100. Not a bad deal at all.
    Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.
