Re: Weghner to Iowa
Hoocher....3 wins would be an over/under prediction so it shouldn't be in a question. Perhaps you don't understand the concept.

While victories are nice, and much more fun for the spectators, sometimes the way you play the game is most important. That is why the plaque at our field says honor before victory, and the field itself is named for a guy who died from injuries suffered while representing Iowa State.

Maybe you could come back with the picture of Grant Steen flipping off the ISU huddle. Stay classy Hawks. Sure have come a long way since the likes of Nile Kinnick.
If this Wegher kid wants to go to Iowa, I could not care less. My point was, and it still stands is that 35,000 people in the stands for a game that would have decided whether or not ISU made the Big 12 Championship game is just as big of an insult to the players as a few idiotic fans booing. I'm glad you were there clapping, but I watched that game on TV, and you must have been the only one in the stands clapping as the team left the field.

Are you masochistic?

Anyways, this argument is irrelevant. Any level headed fan out there knows that fans boo, and sometimes fans don't show up to games. Fans are fans, and they show their frustrations when their team loses to a horrible opponent. I'm not saying I agree with it, but no fanbase is immune from it.
Anyways, to get this back on topic - I'll be interested to see if this is the official deal or not.

Sorry, but both Iowa and ISU have had season-ending games that neither fanbase is proud of. Maybe true SH, however, if your thinking that Iowa football is on the upward bound, you my friend are the minority. Long be gone the days of 10-1 or 9-2 seasons as been the previous. This staff has recruited players that were outside of their norm and now they pay the price.
Sorry, but after the year that not only Iowa Football players has put the state under, but, for your fans to now simply turn your head on all that and simply talk about how great your team is going to be is simply naive. You have lost touch with reality.
Good luck to you in your coaching search.

Good luck to you in your coaching search. I have absolutely no idea what your second paragraph is supposed to mean.

2 words that might push him to Iowa - playing time. He probably saw the picture of Shone "Puffy" Greene in the news and figured it can't be too hard to get some carries at Iowa.

Re: Weghner to Iowa
I'll take the over by the UNLV game.
As much as the Hawk fans and media like to spew the nonsense about the Iowa game being our super bowl, Jon Miller basically called this year's matchup Iowa's super bowl. He was on M&M the other day and said a loss to the Clones this year would be devastating, the worst ever. The reason of course because no one knows how good the Hawks will be this year, even with a favorable schedule, and a loss to ISU could send their season spiraling downward.
