I bet it would really roll off the tougue if the Media refered to us as
''Defending Big 12 Champions I-State takes the field Thursday to shoot some rabbits." The bad thing is that jersey's and logos look a lot better if you win. It will be interesting if people make fun of our Jersey this year. Because you won't see that same person poking fun at USC.

I was just watching Sound Off and Andy asked if he could say Iowa State and Keith told him I-State. Has JP asked the media to refer to us as I-State?

Better I-State than Iowa which the media tends to do.

My only issue with Keith Murphy last night was his crack on the new uni's.

He said we should have hired the speedo designer from ISU to design the new uniforms.

I don't know what he is looking at...but the new uni's rock!

You guys are looking at this all wrong.

As our athletic department continues to ascend beyond that of the EIU Crows, our reputation becomes such that no mention of "I" or "Iowa" is any longer necessary.

We will soon be the dominant force, the first name, the leader in college athletics in our great state.

We will soon be simply known as .................................."STATE."

The "I" is only in the logo because it looks cool. It's just a symbol - kinda like the one Prince had a few years back.
