We got a good rain in Ankeny. Driveway/deck is wet. Should be just right for football tonite.

Re: It's Officially Game Day!!!
This is better than waking up on christmas morning as a kid. I think the person who is most excited for the season to get underway is my wife. I think she is getting tired of the constant updates on exactly how long it is until kickoff.

Re: It's Officially Game Day!!!
Man I so geeked for this game I can barely concentrate. I keep telling college football fans here at work about the game and I know a few are interested in watching it. I even wore my ISU shirt to work, but everyone assumes its a USC shirt due to being in So Cal. Nothing more irritating then walking through the halls at work and hearing the random "go Trojans" yelled as I walk by. Go Cyclones!

Re: It's Officially Game Day!!!
I am in Ames and had about 0.25" yesterday and about another 0.8" last night. Which is pretty much the same as TheShadow said above.

Re: It's Officially Game Day!!!
Oh, sweet Laramie! We drove my limousine out there for the game in... '96? We got it handed to us that day. But we tailgated at least 4 hours ahead, and were the only ones there for the next 3... I think that was Tiller's last year there or second to last. After the beat down we took we went to the Professional Bull Riding Tour next door in the BB arena. I have some great pictures from the top of the mountains with my buddies. What a beautiful place... to visit.

Somebody threw a paper wad my way tonight. I caught it, and just had to yell, "That's another Cyclone...............FIRST DOWN!!!"
People looked like I was some kind of dork or something. I don't get it. -

Let's hope they don't have any Giant Bunnies like this one: http://photoblog.msnbc.msn.com/archi...26/170064.aspx
Or the killer rabbit from Monty Python's the Holy Grail: Tim: That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Robin: You tit! I soiled my armour I was so scared! Tim: Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer! -
