Golden Light is my favorite in the confines of JTS parking lots, but not my favorite at home.

Definitely the right brand. I'm going with Sunshine Wheat though.

If I were going to the game.... Water and Dr Pepper... until the game was over

Head home and head to the bars for some Long Islands (Flag Guy got headaches and dehydrated from cheering too much as it was without alcohol on top of it...)

Since I won't be at the game, I'm trying to decide between decent beer or a 12 pack of Coors or Jack and Coke... I've got 4 hours to decide

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

Amen, except I go for the Crown next. I like to go classy with some Goose Island 312 occasionally.

Coors Light or Busch water preferably, but cold and free is good too.

Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss is my choice, it tickles my throat when I vomit.

Re: Favorite Tailgating Beer

I don't know where to get it in central Iowa, but when I have a roady to the La Crosse WI area, I get and prefer to drink LaCrosse Lager. It is made in the original Old Style brewery-with the original Old Style recipe--Fully Krauesened! That is good beer. Not the swill that comes in an Old Style can these days-from the Strohs and now Miller folks. That is what I will be drinking tonite.

Otherwise I like Liney's (Lienenkugel (sp?)). Though I don't know if they have it in cans, which cans are better for tailgating. And not the Honey Wheat stuff, plain ol' Lineys.

Though once it gets sub 50, I prefer to tailgate with Captain and Cokes and/or 7&7s.
