I don't know where to get it in central Iowa, but when I have a roady to the La Crosse WI area, I get and prefer to drink LaCrosse Lager. It is made in the original Old Style brewery-with the original Old Style recipe--Fully Krauesened! That is good beer. Not the swill that comes in an Old Style can these days-from the Strohs and now Miller folks. That is what I will be drinking tonite.
Otherwise I like Liney's (Lienenkugel (sp?)). Though I don't know if they have it in cans, which cans are better for tailgating. And not the Honey Wheat stuff, plain ol' Lineys.
Though once it gets sub 50, I prefer to tailgate with Captain and Cokes and/or 7&7s.
They do have cans, just haven't ever bought anything other than the bottles.

Diageo (the maker of Smirnoff, Johnny Walker and Captain Morgan among others) announced an increase of 5% in second quarter sales this afternoon. Methinks it's more than coincidental it happened on the day of our first tailgate.
Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it).
