I wish I could figure out how to upload the picture I'm looking at.
I like the new look, just think some color tweaking needs to take place. Just so you know, since we are being compared to them, USCs helmets don't match their jerseys either. You are talking about fabric dies and molded plastics. There is no way, not even with white on white are you going to get a perfect match without painting the helmets to match the jerseys. That would be a crazy expense to repaint before every game. This is the main reason I think they should have gone with a yellow (gold) helmet as well. It would have been a lot harder to pick out the color differences and it would have separated us from USC a little bit.
Over all, I'm a lot happier with these than what we had since we switched to the red red unis.

I'm surprised I haven't heard any east-siders saying they're jealous of the west side, and want theirs done, too.

Love the uniforms, but think black shoes would be the shizot.
Field looked good but I thought all the markings could have used another coat of paint. Just did not seem to pop as much as it could have. Also, I noticed that most of the other games played last night had a "kickoff weekend" logo painted on the field. I wonder why we did not.

Apparently you didn't hear the guy (I wanted to type "clown") on Cyclone Reaction last night.Very first caller--complaining about the programs, that the numbers didn't match the unis, and that some players had the same numbers. Didn't say a thing about the game at all.

Since about 1970, ISU has worn black shoes for 4 years (2004-07). The rest of the time, they were white. So any "classic" ISU uniform actually deserves white shoes.

Loved the uniforms, much darker than I expected. About 95% of the crowd will need to catch up and get the right color shade. And JP, we need NEW FLAGS for the cheer squad. It looks very bad using the old shade of red. Minor details and the whole experience is improving so much.

Regarding the shoes, do we have a smiley that runs around screaming and then shoots himself in the head?

The thing i was worried about was the red logo on the red helmet. But after seeing last night i think the gold outline on in "I" brought out the logo very nicely.
