Keller and the rest of the media types that believe a two QB system will not work need to look up a little Iowa State history. Some may a little too wet behind the ears to remember, but in the mid '70 when we were #2 in the nation in offense, we had a fantastic two QB system. Buddy Hardeman and Wayne Stanley were outstanding, with both being drafted into the NFL.
Where is Earl 'Jellyroll' Bruce when you need him to tell our O-coordinator how it's done?
Excellent point!
I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Help me out here...So both Stanley and Hardeman were sophs without a previous start under their belts when they were second in the nation in total offense?
What are you talking about? My reference was to the fact the the two QB system can work. What, do they have to be seniors to be successful rotating?
Did Keeler or others make some kind of distinction about experience when referring to the so called two QB controversy? Hope this helps you out if that what you were really looking for.
Clone to the Bone with the up and coming IOWA STATE.
