Haha check out the others receiving votes: Michigan Home Openers
also said that utah state got in there because they lost to last weeks #10-UNLV
HA! I thought SDSU was South Dakota State University not the other SDSU.
Kind of hard on San Jose State, and Arkansas. Both 1-0, and on the waiting list for the bottom 10? I would put Minny on the waiting list over both of them. Also, Syracuse lost to a better team (NW) than Pitt did (BG).
I'm still trying to figure out where NKOTB is (Tampa Bay?) and where their team is ranked.
South Dakota State is a FCS team (formerly I-AA) so it wouldn't be fair to put them in the bottom ten. San Diego State's coach is probably just setting himself up to be available when the Iowa job opens up next year.
I'm not sure about that. Northwestern is pretty bad. They lost at home to Duke last year (Duke went on to go 1-11) and squeaked out a win over Nevada. And Bowling Green is a decent MAC team that went to a bowl game last year. I know a MAC team can never beat a Big Ten team (:biglaugh:) but I think Bowling Green would have a pretty good chance against Northwestern.
In spite of the indirect jab at NKOTB, David Duffey has newly found respect from this humble reader. May Jordon Knight's legacy live on, live strong and proudly go forth from this time and place. NKOTB, still hangin' tough.
Michigan should be in the Bottom 10 not just the waiting list.
Have you seen espns 10 easiest schedules? Iowa is no 1. We got #3.. we both avoid the 2 best teams in our conference, but the edge goes to iowa because the rest of their conference is.. well its the big 10.. enough said
I might actually understand the non-love for Arkansas. They actually had to come from behind (and we're talking in the last few seconds as I was told) to beat Western Illinois. And one of the Hog faithful here in the office said that it was thankfully due to a bad call in favor of the Razorbacks.
They're not expected to do a whole lot this year.
Yeah, I'm beginning to more and more think Petrino's not all he's cracked up to be. Actually, I was never all that excited about him coming to the Falcons, and I wasn't all that upset he left - I was just ****** about how he left the team in far worse shape than he left it (yeah, I get the Vick thing wasn't his fault, but morale was at an all time low when he left).
Seriously, I would think of him getting run out of Arkansas as sweet justice...
