With the Seahawks WR Nate Burleson being out for the year, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Seneca playing some wide out this year. Actually, he has been returning punts, he caught one punt yesterday with no return. Burleson was the starting punt returner, and now Seneca should be getting some PT at punt returner and possibly wide out.
I was just going to mention that I saw Seneca return a punt yesterday. He didn't return it far (maybe a yard before being tripped up), and I don't know that he will return any more. I just don't see him as a punt returner. You need somebody that is quick, and Seneca definitely is that. But, you also have to have someone that is fearless. And I saw Seneca take the sideline to avoid contact way too many times when he could have cut upfield. I do just want to see him get on the field, though...
Not sure if Seneca wants to be traded or not, but I don't see Seattle letting him go. Hasselbeck did not look very good yesterday and Frye did not look that strong in the pre-season and will probably take a year to develop in Seattle's system. Hard to say what is going on in Seattle. The coach is supposedly stepping down after this year, so who knows what will happen? Just don't see them trading Wallace now, unless they would get a great deal in return.
