Isn't Chizik's policy to revoke offers if you visit elsewhere after signing?

Chizik pulls offers is a player visits after firmly committing. Carpenter signed after high school, and is now at junior college. He has not recommitted--to our knowledge.

Re: James Carpenter might be changing his mind
He does that as the overall policy, but if you tell him that you are still looking at a few options, he works with the recruit. It's not a blanket policy, just one that goes into effect if you try to do something without being honest and straight forward about it.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -

Of course, one of those guys is playing for that East Carolina team everyone is so impressed with...
I'm still not worried about Carpenter. Right now, it sounds like he's flattered by the interest, and plans on taking a few visits and looking around a little. Hopefully, it'll still work out for the good guys.

Right now, he probably feels like he's on top of the world.

Do we really need a juco Olineman with some of the other OL we have that are frosh and soph.

I never said it would kill ISU's depth or that the guys behind him are not good. But Carpenter is getting some serious looks for a reason.

Re: James Carpenter might be changing his mind
No offense but our Oline now has played less than stellar.
Any addition would be great.

To my understanding... if a recruit says he is going with ISU then that is his word and he is held to it. Chizik wants them to be straight with him in that if they say they might take visits then he will allow that so long as the recruit is up front with it.
At least, that is my understanding.
Just read the article... that was then and this is now so I guess the question remains...
