TV for UNLV?

OK, there are about a gazillion posts in the football forum and after a quick search I didn't see it anywhere. (If there is a thread somewhere, MODS please merge).

Is the game this week against UNLV going to be on TV? It's a Saturday night game and I'd like to have a game watch party at my house with some friends.

I hope so....

Yes it is on TV, on DTV you need the sports pack to get it.

Well thanks for the replies, but I guess I'll be headed somewhere other than my couch for this game. I'll probably find a sportsbar somewhere and get seat early.

There are threads around, but yes, it will be on The MTN (Mountain West's TV network). In Iowa, it's only available on DirecTV (at least to the best of my knowledge). Normally you have to have DirecTV's Sports Pack to get the channel, but they just happen to have a free preview of the Sports Pack this weekend. Channel 616.

Not sure if it is possible but I have heard that tv network is hurting right now. Perhaps mediacom will be able to pick it up to broadcast on the connections channel.

If Johnny's Hall of Fame is now the official "game watch site" for the National Cyclone Club, I have to assume they'll be showing it. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks brianhos! I have the sports pak, but never got the Kent State game, any reason why? I had my wife record it, but she said it wasn't on the guide, I checked after the game and sure enough she was right.

The Kent State game wasn't on TV anywhere. It's the only one so far this year that hasn't been, which is a nice change for us. As someone else said in another thread, it helps that our two non-conference road games were against teams in conferences with their own network. Chances are that if the Mountain West didn't have its own network, this weekend's game wouldn't be on TV.
