Arnaud does fine in this game, but Bates dominates. Barring critical turnovers and poor special teams play, I see ISU pulling away to a relatively easy victory.
Defense will take a big step up this weekend - in addition to being effective against the passing game, our run defense and pass rush will be improved enough to put UNLV in long yardage situations where the pass defense can shut them down.
Lots of big plays this game. ISU 38 UNLV 20.
ISU fans are the greatest in the world. All they ask for is hope and the belief that we have a chance to win every time we step on the field - Johnny Majors (paraphrased)
How can anyone predict us to score 30 points or more after last week? If we score that many points it will have to include Special Teams and Defensive scores b/c our offense has not shown the ability

On that fast track, ISU will break out the offensive playbook it had planned to break out last week. IMO.

We also scored 44 and 48 in our first two games. UNLV's defense is not Iowa's. I think we'll score some points.
I'm pretty worried about this game. Maybe I'm looking into things a little too much but the time difference and the heat are two things that you cant prapare for. The forecast is calling for 95 degrees. Our players havent even practiced in that kind of heat this year. I think playing at a totally different time messes up a player also. I'm still calling for a victory...ISU 28-21.
