Re: What does ISU do with LJ?
Having him watch our backup let the winning pass go right over his head... along with watching KU toss the ball around on us while his butt is on the sideline should be enough.

Kicking him off is a bit extreme. I am sure he will pay for what he did. Missing a few extra games would be proper.

Re: What does ISU do with LJ?
I voted for "suspend for one game after KU". However, let's see how the KU game goes without him. If we do well without him, make that very clear to him, that we are better by subtraction where he is concerned, that his fouls cost us more than his aggressive play. Then bump him to third-string. In other words, play him, but only in emergencies. The humiliation alone of being third-string would shape him up, I think.

Chizik's doghouse is a tough one to get out of.

Re: What does ISU do with LJ?
I voted to suspend him for the KU game and unspecified team sanctions, but I have mixed feelings on this. I hate the personal fouls, and it is killing our team. But I also like having players that play with a little nastiness. I am so used to watching ISU being the ones pushed around that it is kind of nice to see our guys fight back and get the personal foul every now and then. I guess the only reason I voted the way I did is because the the particular play. For the most part though the personal fouls have infact been because of heat of the moment aggressivness.

Could someone describe what happened exactly? Didn't start listening until the 4th quarter.

Re: What does ISU do with LJ?
idk.. man i think one game is enough for him. maybe im to lenient, but he's just a talent that cant be kicked from the team and i say just make him run till he passes out... who knows what would have happened on the coverage in OT if LJ was in instead of allen bell the back up

Woahh... my bad guys! I didn't have audio for watching the game so i'm assuming he was ejected for the late hit after the UNLV td run. Wow I just figured Chizik didn't let him play the rest of the game.
