Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but did anyone else see the guy decked out in his Iowa gear at the UNLV game? I saw him on TV and I THOUGHT he was cheering for UNLV when they scored.
I was at the game & saw 2 different guys that were decked out in Hawkeye gear. One of them ended up chatting with my wife while we were tailgating. He thought he was getting in some sly digs at ISU until my wife offered her condolences for losing to Pitt earlier in the day. The guy didn't even know that Iowa had lost & promptly sulked away with his tail between his legs.
I saw several people wearing Iowa crap. I don't understand why people do that. I don't show up to Iowa games wearing ISU stuff, unless we are playing them. If you want to go to Vegas to cheer against ISU atleast wear UNLV stuff. Come on how pathetic can people be?

Do you really think they are smart enough to take a sly dig? I think the more likely scenario is that hawk fans just keep getting lost. I know I get Pittsburgh and Vegas mixed up all the time....
That is the only thing I can think of that can explain the hawk gear I see at JTS on gamedays. Can somebody please teach hawk fans how to use a map!

That would be like teaching a dog to make a ham and cheese sandwich. Although a shock collar would be fun to put on your average hawk fan.

Ugh, don't get me started on those people! Why the H would anyone come to an ISU game in Ames wearing iowa garb when we aren't playing them? I would assume it's because they want to get a rise out of people and are looking for someone to argue with...can't stand them!
I saw a car in the parking lot with one Hawk flag and one Rebel flag flying from the windows. I don't understand the reason for flying the Hawk flag but it was nice of them to mark the parolee section for us.
A lady sitting right behind us was wearing a Colorado jersey. I'm assuming some people go to a football game and use it as an excuse to wear the one jersey they own. I don't buy jerseys because I wont wear them anywhere except a game, I guess I can see justifying the expenditure by wearing it to "other" games.
