The SDSU game was on DirectTV. It was on some channel that is not normally used and it didn't show up in the program guide until about a day before the game, but it was there. I believe you have to have the sports pack to get it.

Wow - Get to see each of the first 6 games this year, actually first 8. Will see at least 9 of 12.

Fox College Sports games are aired on DirecTV's sports pack but do not necessarily show up as "Fox College Sports" in the channel guide. Waco....I will not. If you have Mediacom, it's in their sports pack as well. But I wouldn't go signing up for the sports pack just to get the game, as they ended up announcing a couple of days before the SDSU game that they'd put it on Channel 22 for free. (Worst case scenario: If it gets to be a couple of days before the Baylor game and Mediacom hasn't made an announcement, then you can sign up for their sports pack.)

Night road games are fine but it really sucks waiting all day long to watch it. It seems like the day drags on and on.

Kansas' game against Sam Houston State, which aired on FCS, also showed up on this channel. So try looking there a day or two before our game airs. I believe there were several people that did not have the sports pack on Directv and had the SDSU game. I did have the sports pack and saw it, but do not currently, so if there are any games on this weekend on FCS, I am going to see if I get the channel without it.

I'm noticing that each week it looks like 5 of the 6 big 12 games are televised. Has the Big 12 done away with the horrible tv package that only televised 3 or 4 games at most. It's good news for ISU. The common thread in the first 2 weeks of conf play is teams playing TAMU are on TV. Good thing TAMU is coming to Ames.

Dish network will surely pick this up on one of their "Alternate Sports Channels" or Comcast will air it like they did with the OU game last week.

41 of the 80 total slots went to South teams, with 39 to the North.
