Not that I put much stock into it, but I am a little surprised to see anybody picking ISU to win this over a ranked team!

I think they're picking us to beat the spread, not win the game.

No...if you read what the * means, it says it means the team will win, but wont cover. So if they were picking Kansas to win, but Iowa State to beat the spread, you would see an *.

Yeah...I thought the same thing too, because I was that shocked not one, but two people picked us.
The K key is right below the I key, so they may have just pushed the wrong one?!

One of those "writers" is the infamous Clucko, the chicken/coin toss they use to break ties in case the four writers are split on their decision. Clucko, coincidentally, has chosen us 5 straight games this year, so either he's really biased towards ISU, or we just have really good chicken feed.  |

actually... I am no mathmatician but the 2 that picked us have the worst records so far by my count, you must be looking at the spread record, I am going by straight up since thats what matters in the W&L columns.
