ISU picked as fox sports number 8 upset special of the week

I just cannot share the "experts" view on the TT-KSU game. I thought the spread being less than 15 points was a slap in the face for Tx Tech. Now this guy thinks Crazykitties win outright??? I'd say he if gets more than 3 right I'd be amazed and amused.

I hate playing that stupid game. We beat Iowa and nobody cares because we are supposed to. If we lose that game, everybody laughs at us and thinks we suck because we lost to little old Iowa. Clearly nobody outside the state gets this game and we should just stop playing it.

I almost have to agree with this statement. I don't know about ending the series because it means so much to the state, but honestly, ISU is in a lose lose situation it seems no matter what the outcome is.

I'm guessing Baylor's not on there because that one Baylor player already guaranteed victory.

Yeah, Nebraska's getting their "comeuppance" right now - All the Big 8 and early Big XII teams that Nebraska ran the score up on are now doing the same to Nebraska while they are playing like the doormat of the league. Look at what Kansas did to Nebraska last year.

I don't think this one is even close.

I wasn't very thorough -- but I think it's just a list of interesting possibilities -- not so much actual upset predictions.

I hope they are right, but people are making to big of a deal about our defensive passing. Sure, we are in the top 30 nationally for pass defense, but that is because everyone is running over us and we haven't faced any good heavy pass team yet. On the flip side, Kansas is not nearly as good as they were last year and their lack of a running game will help us compete. I think we could get a couple of picks against Kansas. The real key to the game, is can we get points off the turnovers? If not, were done.

IMO I don't think Kansas is as good as people say, however I don't see us beating them this weekend. Will we be competitive, yes I think so, but I just don't see us winning this one. I hope they prove me wrong though!

Seriously? Its great for ISU when we beat Iowa. I don't remember the last time we were picked to win, besides by us fans. Beating Iowa helps in building a bigger fanbase across the state. It also helps with in-state recruiting. Another positive that comes out of an ISU win is some national coverage, especially if Iowa is overrated (happens quite often).

It's supposed to be possible upset games. I would think that if he gets 3 right, he would be amazed and amused. There is not that many upsets for ranked team on any given week. That is way they are ranked.
