I'm taping the game (TV, Versus, channel 77 Mediacom), so is LJ doing something to live up to Gene's prediction? Can't wait to watch the game later, if so.

LJ and Benton look better in their 5th career game than Singleton after 40 or so starts. Now if they can bring in 2-3 safeties next year like they did corners we will be on our way to an exceptional defense.(or maybe talk mister Bates into moving over to safety) I have never left a loss more stoked about our future. Other than RJ and Taylor everyone of the playmakers on the field today are going to be back next year.

He's going to be great. No doubt about it and it looks like he can control his emotion.

Its amazing how good he is already knowing that this is his first year playing cornerback. He is going to be something very special!!! |

The only way he might get a sixth year is if he got a hardship, which wouldn't even be applied for until his fifth season (next year) were completed, and the sum total of time missed due to injury (i.e., if he missed most of next season as well) were known.

if he used a redshirt this year, then he would have 2 years left, wouldn't he?
