Yea, I know. but I am not sure we can win in an offensive shootout with them. I think if we can keep the score low and control the time of possession, it will give us the best chance to win.

I've predicted ISU wins the last three weeks, and that hasn't quite happened as I planned. I'll say Nebraska 35, Iowa State 27. Another competitive game in which we come up just a bit short.

Nebraska let a win against a ranked team slip out of their hands, the same way we did with Kansas. I hope they follow it up with a "let down" the way we did too. We start out gunning out of the gates and hold on for the win.

I hate Nebraska. We will come up short I think too....yet another heart-breaking loss for us. We will win the tailgate though.

Exactly, we need to come out with the same fire we had against Kansas and use the second half fire we had against UNLV to keep the lead. We are due for our first complete game.

anyways, i have been picking NU by 14 and i could see it going up to 40+ if ISU plays like they did against baylor.

NU has not really been inconsistent, we do not have the Dline to exert pressure on chase daniel and that is how you beat MU. if you dont get that pressure on Daniel they will lay points on you all day.

in our other two losses we lost by less than a TD in each both team are ranked in the top 15, one in the top 5. on top of that we manhandled all of our other 3 out of conference opponents.

i have been to every ISU home game this season and i have not been impressed, not even with the KU game. ISU is very very slow, especially on defense. they have lived and died off of the turnover, many times blowing their coverages trying to go for the turnover. NU is not kent state and our offense will not let your Dbacks get away with that and we will likely break some long passes and have a lot of YAC. ISUs D is bad enough that NU will be able to exploit it as bad if not much better than we did against TTech. you can expect a lot of short passes, 4-7 yds, that will eventually start to open up the run and we will start to break some long runs in the second half. NU will also throw some long balls but likely only 4-5 throughout the game.

Baylor is certainly getting better but they are still a bottom level team that would only be average at best in the MAC. That game along with the other 3 games they have lost in a row make me think that this ISU team will not only be over matched they will be demoralized. Bo will not run up the score so we will not win by 50 or any number like that (probably not even the 40 i said above) but we will likely win by anywhere between 14 and 30.

For your sake i hope that i am wrong about winning by that much but that is just how i see it and that is coming from someone that has watched every ISU game and all home games at jack trice. I am a NU fan but i do follow ISU football very closely and this one will just be out ISUs league for now.

please dont tear me apart too bad!

IMO- We match up well on defense. NU is not overpowering with the run game and their receivers are not much to be afraid off (except Swift). It is a lot like the KU game excpet KU has a better QB and better WR's.
Defensively, I don't think NU is very good at all. They will give up yards we just need to capitalize.

The biggest question is which team comes out of the tunnel? Since it is at home I think we come ready to play, especially following Baylor. The staff may not always get guys ready for games but they rarely come out poorly two games in a row. And I definitely don't see NU blowing ISU out of the water. I think it will be a close game
