Does anyone really think Tiller will play this year?

Some on this board have made comments to that effect. Has Chizik hinted at this at all? I know Tiller is supposedly a big time talent, but is he ready for prime time now?

Unless AA goes down - no.

And honestly, if he does for any other reason - I probably won't be attending many games in the foreseeable future.

First two mistakes that told me alot of Mac.

1) His first OT game, we won the toss and he took the end-of-the-field. WTF?

2) In a less than meaningless game, he pulled the redshirt of Bandauer for the sake of about 4 plays. Worse yet, even with the rs blown, he didn't play Bandy for the remainder of a pretty much lost season.

I don't care to see those types of decsions repeated.

Absolutely not. If AA stays healthy, Tiller won't see a snap which will make the coaches, Jerome, his family and all the fans very happy.

Who is our "we have to put somebody in there" backup? (that sounds good, doesn't it?)

Tiller will play if AA gets hurt, and the odds on that based on last week are better than 50-50. I don't understand all the emotion against him playing. What exactly are we morgaging? This guy may be a super player, and will compete to start next season. Either he is a RS coming into next season,or has some experience and has three years left. I'm ok with either senario. Some need to understand, there is NO OTHER OPTION according to GC.

The intramural football tournaments should be under way. Maybe the coaches should be out scouting some new backup QB's for the team.

I would not object to Tiller playing because of an AA injury. I know there is apprehension about pulling the RS off of Tiller, but Coach Chizik is still coaching to win games no matter what. Putting the best possible team out there is his job and I have confidence he will do this no matter what. I firmly believe he is still coaching this team with the intent of getting them bowl eligible this year.
