Re: Official ISU-Nebraska Post Game Thread
You know, things COULD be worse - we could be Michigan St right now (they're getting pwned by Ohio St)
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

We just got besmirched by a very mediocre team.

Re: Official ISU-Nebraska Post Game Thread
Ouch. Just got home from the game.
The offense obviously played horrid, but I think the real story of the the day was the defense's failure to even touch Ganz on 99% of the plays today. Other than that, the defense didn't play THAT bad.
We've obviously taken our position as the worst team in the North and we'll find out next week who the worst team in the Big 12 is.
The end of this season will not be like the end of the last season. Can we find some sort of momentum going into the offseason???
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012. -

What makes you think that I'm giving up? I want ISU to be a better team. Part of that is wise use of limited resources.

Fifteen years (of mostly losing) later and I'm beginning to run out of patience.

Re: Official ISU-Nebraska Post Game Thread
Do you think that Chizik is making the most of the situation? I would say that he isn't. Just my two cents. I like this team, I think that it would be better with Bates. I don't like the coaching. I don't like kicking a field goal in the red zone midway through the 4th down by two touchdowns when the offense hasn't been moving the ball all day. I don't like the slow adjustments or no adjustments.

THAT.....is BAD. But we held them to less than 600. -

To answer your question I think that we should have kept McCarney.

So after fifteen years of mostly losing you expect a first-time head coach to come in and turn everything around in less than two years?

Re: Official ISU-Nebraska Post Game Thread
The D had no chance for a good game because our offense couldn't stay on the field for more than 8 plays at a time.
