Maybe we should have kept Coach McCarney and hired new offensive coordinators and defensive coordinators?

Especially when there are enough bowl games that more than half of the programs go to post-season play of some type each year.

Mac had already played that card with the offensive coordinator. Not sure that he had the interest in doing so again to keep the head coaching job here.

    Entirely irrelevant question.

And yes we would. The 2010 team would NOT be this team. All of the players finding their way today would be juniors and seniors when the end zone is completed.

And people said the exact same thing at this stage last year. And look what happened. A&M is a whole new ballgame. I'm looking forward to it.

We all respect your passion, and we all want the same thing, or we wouldn't spend our weekends on a website called Cyclone Fanatic. (Of course, that might make us sound like losers on our weekends)

Be patient, man. It's all coming together. The valleys are the biggest part of growth. That's where we find out the character of the people in them. I'm pretty sure this is a low point for Chizik professionally. The way he responds shows us what he and this future team are made of.

From what I've seen so far, they're going to respond just fine.

    Beat the Aggies!

I'd bet the house on it, except I've lost 3.3 million credits the past two weeks. Oh, well. Time to win another Mafia game

I know it hurts, folks. I drove home today feeling about as bummed as I've felt in a long, long time. Like a lot of you, I've suffered through so many losing seasons that I just don't know how many more I can take. Even so, I think we have the right staff in place. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to take a few more years, just like it did for Pinkle and Mangino. I guess it would be unrealistic to expect otherwise.

I don't think it'll take "years". Just long enough for a young offensive line to get their feet on the ground, and start dominating.

2010? Have you looked over the schedule for 2010? Don't we get the south big boys again and possibly Utah?

Yes, I've looked over the 2010 schedule. A number of times. And yes, I think we'll be that good.

We'll start being better next season. For that matter, before this season is over--just like last year.

My favorite was the "fan" behind me calling certain players morons, idiots, waste of scholarship, etc. He was great..
