I want to apologize for being overconfident going into the Nebraska game. I was so disgusted with myself that I haven't come on here until now since yesterday.

I was calling for 30-0, calling out Gene as the true defensive guru.

I just want to let you all know that I feel bad if I made anyone overconfident based on what I was saying.

This team has a long way to go.

And, for goodness sakes, what is with all the steam in the endzone before the game? I really think that disoriented them for awhile, and that gave Nebraska an early edge.

I've gone to these games for years, and I really, really, really am not sure what is happening.

I always see a couple players run into the goal post in the fog. Those things are dangerous, we should rip them down after we beat aTm.

That game hurt a lot more for some reason than the others this year, last week at Baylor we played pretty bad but this week was down right pathetic. Yes we had our 2 play 80 yard drive that actually gave ISU fans everywhere hope, but other than that our team as a whole looked like they couldn't have beat Ames high. I had pretty high expectations for this game and I was let down. Don't feel alone CyPride....

Maybe they put something in the smoke that would make them tired and not perform up to their regular levels as seen vs Iowa, UNLV, Baylor, second half of Kansas (which didn't include smoke)....

I don't think the smoke did anything to affect them unless they were smoking it up before the game... Hmmmm second home defeat of the season and we are blaming the smoke machine....

No need to be sorry....I will go into this game believing we can win. No matter how bad it gets during the rebuilding process...I would rather come off as a kook predicting wins opposed to feeling sorry for ourselves

There was a ton of overconfidence around here and I noticed it all along. I, however, didnt think it would get quite that ugly. We were about to make it close and then pow.

I would like to thank the team for making all the Husker fans over here in Omaha harder to live with again.
