In Omaha as an example, the four major stations broadcast HD signal through 2 or 3 channels at same time. We have 3.0 for analog and 3.1 and 3.2 for HD. All you need is an HD TV and a HD antenna in your house to get 5.2 if you are close enough to get the signal. Usually the secondary channels broadcast are all weather or an off beat show. In fact, NETV has 6 channels broadcast at same time over the air. Cable does not carry these extra channels normally.
CFH HMagic bball season.
Let my fred's Four Horsemen ride.
Kingcy, you might be saying this sarcastically, but I think I remember the bill was to provide funding for 40 million coupons and allow 2 per household maximum. They will probably run out of funding the closer we get to Feb 09.
Marty and Miller have been talking about this all show. November 1st, both of these games will be regional telecasts. Just announced the Iowa-Illinois game will be broadcast, while trying to get ISU-OSU on a different channel, like 5.2 or something.
I think this guy is going to be on the call in show tonight from 6:30-7. He says there was never a question as to which game they would show.
I thought once they set up the Big 10 Network we would not have to worry about this kind of crap ! Boy was I wrong !
This is a bad sign for ISU...at one time this happened but it went away as the football program improved from 2000-2006 now it is back again. This should not happen in central Iowa, I can see it happening in the eastern side of the state but not in ISU's back yard.
It never happened from 2000-2006 because our dumb ***** athletic director got us in a contract that rarely showed ISU on tv to begin with. And then never fought the injustice that ISU fans were suffering under.
Reason number 832 that his can was fired.
You have no interest in ISU except to rail on the current (better) regime. Go away.
(I don't know why I bothered posting this. He won't be back until our next loss to take another swipe at Pollard and the current ISU staff. A true troll)
