Has anyone heard from "The City" since.............
PB decided to "leave". I have wondered how his brother's season is going and if he is still interested in joining the good guys.

I'm still here! Lol, October is a busy month for me, my wifes birthday and my wedding anniversary in the same week!!! So I've been here and there. Well anyway, I've been speaking to my brother and actually had a chance to talk to PB too! All is still well for the Cyclones!! I believe Money will make his choice in about 5 weeks, its down to 5 teams. We are taking our time sincerely. I hate to see you guys losing games though! The Big XII is a tough conference! Stay tuned!

Stay tuned! I hope he isn't getting discouraged by the performence of the team in recent weeks. We could really use him and I think he would immediately be our #1 receiver if he were to come next year.

I got the feeling that it was a harder decision for him than the fans think. Sad.
Now here's a funny thought for ISU fans that someone might even wanna repost. In 2006 the season before my brother's senior year he was heavily recruited by a coach named Fitch. This coach was convinced that my brother could come into his school and make a big impact. We were planning a visit to his school, when all of a sudden they got a commitment from another player at QB, he was from Nebraska . Then they totally let my brother go.
Well, the player that took the scholarship from my brother was a kid named Philip Bates, Coach Fitch was the QB coach, the school was Iowa State.
But its all good, no hard feelings, theres a new coaching staff and we let by gones be by gones...lol. But I just had to get that off my chest.
Good luck verses the Aggies. And by the way, Money is not worried about the losses. He's looking for a team that he can make plays for. The coaches and fans at ISU are making us feel like he can do it in Ames...so keep striving you guys and we'll see what happens! ...and now you know...the rest of the story. :) Thanks for the update.

I really believe we have tremendous athletic, football players. Only problem is there are not enough to field a full team, and they are freshmen and sophomores. No doubt Chiz will bring in more VERY talented freshmen and Jucos (hopefully Money, Carpenter, Butler, Crim and Martin) to make another immediate impact.

Re: Has anyone heard from "The City" since.............
The really sad part about PB is that PB would be starting right now since AA has been struggling due to a nagging injury. There is no guarantee that PB would have kept that starting role but he would have had a chance to make an impact in games that matter and perhaps he could have showed Coach that he deserves the starting role.
Best of luck to your brother. I hope he comes to play for the good guys :) Coach has a lot of young talent on this team but we need more big play makers. He would be a welcome addition.

We're all frustrated with the losses but we know things will get better if we can just practice a little patience. Money will be huge for the Cyclone effort of getting things turned around and getting back to post season play!
Tell Money we wish him the best of luck in the remainder of his season! Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. -

Dont worry AA is fine now. Altho you could tell he didnt have the arm strength the last 2 wks he has looked excellent in practice. (He looks like hes making up for lost time trying to take receivers hands off haha)
