We currently own "scoreboard"...
...against four teams in the Big XII.
OK St (37-10 in 2005)
aTm (42-14 in 2005)
K-State (31-20 in 2007)
CU (31-28 in 2007)
We play all these teams in our last 5 games this season (along with Mizzou).
If we don't win at least one of these games..... (gulp)

I guess there's only one thing to do then... Win the whole **** thing!

Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
OK St (37-10 in 2005) - Not gonna happen, no way, no how.
aTm (42-14 in 2005) - "Should" win, we'll see if we're motivated for once.
K-State (31-20 in 2007) - Road game, who knows.
CU (31-28 in 2007) - Possible but they're decent and we're unknown.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -

Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
I'm feeling pretty confident right now you can flip that OSU score around for this years match-up.
A&M will be very close - toss up.
I just don't see us having the confidence, ability, experience - whatever - to win on the road versus CU and KSU. We can - I just don't see it happening unfortunately.

Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
So 7-5 it is:) Where does that put us? 2 teams in the BCS. Sun, Indepence or Alamo?
(just frickin kidding)
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum.... -

Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
We also have scoreboard against Kent State and South Dakota State, so when you add in the 4 Big 12 teams we currently have scoreboard against, we are really 6-3 for the year! I am thinking Alamo or maybe Holiday Bowl!

Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
Lets worry about tomorrow first. It's the most winnable conference game for us and it's at home. If we can't win that, the other games don't look so good.
I don't drink the Kool-Aid, and I am done making excuses. Only keeping it real... -
Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
I just want to see some real fire in the offense. This walk up to the line, get in position, look to the side, look again, get into place then quietly ruyun a play is killing us on momentum. Can we just please run a true no huddle offense and see if we can pick up speed. If you review the playcalling this and last year, it shows that Bret was better at running six yard plays last year than AA is at this year's four yard plays. Our offense is down to only 319 yards a game.
YEAR..........OFFENSE....... DEFENSE.......... YRDS/GAME
2002..........381.................359
2003..........298.................443
2004..........329.................329
2005..........350.................345
2006..........317.................392
2007..........326.................390
2008..........319.................410
Last year was better with -64 yard difference versus -91 yard difference this year. It is only the turnovers and special teams that has improved our team from a yardage standpoint. On paper, 06 and 07 looks better....the last time we owned the yardage for a season was 2005.

Re: We currently own "scoreboard"...
I think a win this weekend could do a lot to help us finishing out the season, if nothing else, at least looking competitive. Really though, of all of those. aTm is really the only game I'd say we should have a good shot against. I don't know at all how we match up with them though. Seems to me they are putting up more points than us. Of that, I'm not sure what's junk at the end of the game. I haven't had a chance to see one of their games yet.
OK St. - No way we win that one with out playing out of our *****. Kansas game x 2, and maybe we have a shot. They are a good team this year. Best case, they end up wearing us out towards the end of the 3rd quarter and put up a late TD on us to go up by 17.
K-State and CU? Well, I think we look all right compared to these guys, but, these are on the road. Until ISU proves they can do anything on the road, I don't see any way we are able to keep it close enough for a shot at either of these guys at the end.
And Mizzu? Well, I'd love to take them down. I don't see it happening though. We've been lit up all year by anybody with half a throwing arm. This game will be all Daniels all day. Probably another one of those record breaking days that ISU is on the losing end of. Our best shot is if it's cold and wet and we have to grind it out with them.
