Is Sed's mom still coming to the game?!?

I thought a while ago someone posted that his mom was coming up to Ames for the aTm game, the team she REALLY wanted him to play on. Im sure shes fully supporting him now, but it would be cool to see FCS TV do an in game interview with her in the stands. A lot of broadcasts love to chat up players parents, this is the perfect time.

That would be cool, but regardless of whether or not his mom comes to the game, I hope Sed has a HUGE game tomorrow! Remember all the trash they were talking on the atm message boards after he picked ISU, hoping he breaks a leg, etc. Somehow I don't think they meant it as good luck. Heck, let's hope it's a banner day for Johnson AND Johnson!

EDIT: I just realized that atm's QB is named Jerrod Johnson, so I should clarify I meant Sedrick and Leonard. In case anyone was wondering.

If AA is back with velocity, he should have a big game. I would like to see him go up and catch a couple of high throws for Mom. If she cannot make it, it will be on FCS.

We saw Sed's mom at Baylor. Just looking at her you got the impression she's still fuming about his being at ISU. A guy tailgating with us was talking to Sed's younger brother, and as soon Mom saw them chatting she grabbed the kid away, as if the guy was trying to abduct him or something. There were alot of players parents mingling with the ISU faithful (Kurtis Taylor's family is a hoot), but Mrs. Johnson wanted nothing to do with it.

That's unfortunate. I feel bad for Sedrick.

Mom - Time to cut the umbilical cord and realize that your son is his own man, that makes his own decisions. You should be proud of him!

I'm guessing one day she'll regret her lack of 'enthusiasm' and support for Sed and his college career. Hopefully she'll wake up before it's too late.

Hopefully Sed just does what's best for his family. I hope he stays, but family relationships are tough.

Being someone who has a complicated at best relationship with my mom, it's hard to give people advice with this whole situation. The last thing a kid wants to do is dissapoint their parents.

At the end of the day, I just hope that he does what's best, that his family supports him and everything is all good!
