I took some casual fans to the game last night, a couple of whom are Iowa fans. We were at the Spirit walk a few minutes before the team got there, and they wanted to stay and see what it was all about.
They were downright impressed, and said it's a "neat tradition". I can't wait until we get good and see what a big deal it will be then.
Same thing with my buddy. He's not an Iowa fan but he wanted to see it. It was pretty cool. We saw families of the FB players, fans, and overheard one play walking say how cool it was. Very neat stuff.

I actually talked with LJ's brother for a few minutes. Seemed like a super cool kid. Introduced me to Mike Marry as he came in with the team and we both did our best to get him to come to ISU :)
