Ian Knight seems to have enjoyed his visit
I really hope we get this guy because our defensive line really needs help. Scout.com: Knight Names Top Three After Visit To Ames -
Re: Ian Knight seems to have enjoyed his visit
Be nice, but I still want to know about Mike Marry.
Think that good defenders would think they see some PT available? -
Re: Ian Knight seems to have enjoyed his visit
All right, so Mike Marry and Michael Sam both had a good time. And Scout is merrily scooping Rivals. -
Re: Ian Knight seems to have enjoyed his visit
If we were to get Marry, I think we would have 3 very good LBs committed. I wish we could have some really good safeties committed...

Re: Ian Knight seems to have enjoyed his visit
I wouldn't mind beating out Illinois for a recruit.

Mosby? Scout.com: Ryan Mosby Profile
I wouldn't count on him playing lienbacker, especially considering the players still being recruited.

I like that Knight is a December grad too, get him in and working out so he's ready to go in the fall.

Re: Ian Knight seems to have enjoyed his visit
Our atmosphere is giving us a chance in recruiting. I hope people remember this for our last game against Mizzou :)

"I loved it and thought the atmosphere was unbelievable," he said. "They have really devoted fans. It was a wild crowd and I could definitely see myself playing for those type of fans."
I think recruits are seeing how behind the team and program we are despite the record. I think they'll look and say "wow, just think what this place will be like with a winning record/bowl appearances/big 12 title competing."
GOTTA stay behind our city, our school, our players, our coaches. I can't believe there is ONLY 1 MORE TAILGATE this year! UGH, times flies. Let's get behind them for a road victory or even 2 until Mizzou comes to town!

I hope people remember this for our last game against Mizzou :) I think the weather will dictate how full/empy JTS is. If it's a sunny and warmish (50s, by Nov 15) then you'll see a good turnout. If you get the opposite with cold (30s) and windy then attendance will dwindle. Obviously, this is the case with any game, but I think if you ask a lot of the fans that were there on Saturday if they would sit in the cold to watch ISU play, you'd get a definite "no."
I'll be there rain, wind, snow, sleet or hail! One last tailgate as a student!
