On your HD DVR or HD tuner, go to Menu, setup, system setup, satellite & antenna, antenna setup, initial setup, and enter your zip code as your primary local market. The receiver will then search for your local channels which will not include 5.2. After that, go to "add secondary market", enter zip code 90210, and the receiver will then search for local channels in Los Angeles, one of which is 5.2. Go to your programming guide and 5.2 will show up as KTLA, but when you tune it in you will receive WOI.

Just dug up my bunny ears and ran the scan, didn't have to add anything, it found it by default.

I've had 8-2 here in the Quad Cities ever since I got the antenna months ago, but it still says "Live Local Radar". I hope that's not true by the time 2:30 rolls around...

Darn it Monty. If I just had checked the site before I left to attend a party, I could have at least taped it. My bad. I snuck out a couple of times to check on the radio. Thank you for the information! I will know better next time.
