ISU Hosts Bowl Game and Other Fiction!

Fun Friday activity...

1. If ISU were to host a ball game in January, what would ISU/Ames call it?
2. What football teams should/would ISU chose to host?
3. What could ISU do to enhance the experience at Jack Trice Stadium?

Here are some ideas to get it started!

Names:
Sauer-Danfoss.com Bowl
Holy **** It's Cold Bowl
The Krispy Kreme Donut Bowl - Free donut to anyone attending.
The Billy Sunday Bowl - Free sermon at half time for those attending.
The Dinkey Bowl

Teams:
Teams that went 0-fer the entire season.
Teams in Division I with the smallest average physical size.

Enchantments:
Don't scoop the field before kick off for snow.
If no snow, bring in snow machines and blow snow across the field at high speed.
Disallow the use of gloves by all players and coaches. Running game and frost bite, here we come!

The Corn Bowl.

This is ISU's Bowl Game Bowl

Somehow, we should play it the week after the Iowa game(only if ISU wins), and call it the Pro Bowl.

1. We have an Indoor Tornado Simulator thing Bowl. WITS Bowl for short
2. I'm sure Upper Iowa is available.
3. Sweet Caroline as the teams come onto the field. Guess the season ticket sales of next season (students included!), 1st place prize is a suit for the next season.

Have teams that have had a turn around season and call it the "New Direction Bowl" (Say it faster and aloud to yourself)

The Blizzard bowl. Only for teams that like throwing the ball.:wink:

or the TV Bowl, because that's the only way anyone is going to watch it.

Make the players wear snowpants :smile:

Stone Cold 90's Bowl! - A Celebration of Mediocrity!

The exclusive bowl reserved for those teams who haven't won any kind of outright champianship in 90 or more years.

Didn't we host the Toilet Bowl in Mac's first game as a head coach? Wasn't it 0-12 ISU hosting 0-12 Ohio that year?

I think we can go ahead and host the Hey, Would it Kill Somebody to Make Us Play Up North In The Weather Once In a While Bowl!

Texas vs. Texas Tech each and every year

And just to make sure it is a perfect day, we should play it after the BCS games, sometime in mid to late January!
