And I love how you continue to go back to LJ being a QB last year every time our secondary is brought up. LJ is clearly not the issue - but hey - you can't say the same type of stuff about our safeties...so you've gotta spin it the "best" you can.
We're 10 games into the season and haven't seen any improvement. Something is not right here. They are not getting any better. The coaches either don't know what they are doing, or cannot communicate with them well. Problems either way. You can't blame it on a lack of physical talent when we're not within 10 yards of the ball. It's upstairs.
I would swear Skladany was still trying to milk out 4th quarters again watching these last few games.
With the talent that Chizik had in previous programs, they apparently could play cover 2 with success.
This is not the case now.
With whatever you experts diagnose, it is apparent to a lot of us that teaching guys to be passive is infectous on a defense. They are over-coached to the point of not playing instinctively--to say the least. Passive. It is like watching McCarney trying to set up for fieldgoals.
Missouri could be the lowest of lows, a bottoming out. Chase Daniels will be wanting to pad Heisman stats as well as BCS points. Pinkie and Chase are the ruthless types that will not have forgotten two years ago....that alone may equate to 28 4th quarter points when they are already up a bunch......a bunch.
