I dont know why anyone would pay attention to this crap

Re: Chizik moves up to #7
Not even close to being on the hot seat yet. Some of his assistants, maybe. But not Chizik. Not for another two seasons.
No matter how bad we are.

DIdn't click on the link, but I'm wondering how many, if any, other coaches on that list have been at their school for TWO FULL YEARS.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating. -
Re: Chizik moves up to #7
No way he is on the hotseat, he is doing this correctly, and we have better athletes than we have ever had. It will turn around, and it will be all of a sudden.

Re: Chizik moves up to #7
Even good ole Hawk Chuck Long is on the hot seat at number four. MUST be a conspiracy.
Actually Joe Glenn of Wyoming is on the hot seat/ JHe must go to a bowl game to save his hide.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I was going to blow it off, but you "inspired" me to click that link . Here's their list:
1- Greg Robinson, Syracuse
2- Tommy Tuberville, Auburn.
3-Charlie Weis, Notre Dame
4-Chuck Long, San Diego State 5-Paul Wulff, Washington State--1st year 6-Steve Kragthorpe, Louisville- 2nd year 7-Gene Chizik, Iowa State--2nd year
8- Joe Glenn, Wyoming--2002
9- Al Groh, Virginia 10- Mike Sherman, Texas A & M--1st year
Didn't check much into the background of the site, but 4 out of ten are in their first 2 years. 2 in their 1st year, 2 in their 2nd year.
This list is ridiculous. Sure, Louisville was coming off of a hugely successful period with Petrino, but, without reseaching, I would ask what kind of shape he left things in with his constant flirting with other jobs.

Re: Chizik moves up to #7
Shouldn't they name the hot seat the "Tuberville Seat"? Isn't he always on it, unless he's undefeated?
-
Re: Chizik moves up to #7
I think he has longer than that.
Mac is in more trouble it BB it's his 3rd year he needs to win.

Re: Chizik moves up to #7
I guess I would need a definition of hot seat.
Is it hot because fans are mad? If so, yes, he's on it.
Is it hot because the people who decide his fate are fire-ball ******? Absolutely not.
No one expects miracles out of our coach, but some improvement is expected. Just because we don't see it this very minute doesn't mean that he is in any jeopardy of being fired in any way, shape or form.
This list is stupid.

1- Greg Robinson, Syracuse (GONE)
2- Tommy Tuberville, Auburn. (won a national championship a few years ago)
3-Charlie Weis, Notre Dame (in the middle of a 10 year 40 Million dollar contract - too expensive to buy out).
4-Chuck Long, San Diego State (who cares) 5-Paul Wulff, Washington State--1st year (they are pretty bad) 6-Steve Kragthorpe, Louisville- 2nd year (fine, they are a basketball school - they don't care) 7-Gene Chizik, Iowa State--2nd year (ok - he will finish his contract and then get resigned for 10 years after winning the big 12 2 years in a row).
8- Joe Glenn, Wyoming--2002 (gone)
9- Al Groh, Virginia (fine, turned the season around). 10- Mike Sherman, Texas A & M--1st year (first year, they are improving).
