    did anyone else catch the number of, and player positions that Coach Chizik said they were recruiting on the radio show this evening? I couldn't get them written down fast enough. Help?

    3 DE's and only 1 DT which I am shocked at. I think 2-3 safeties, 4-5 o-line, 1 QB, 3 wr's, 1 TE and 2 RB I believe.

    Folks really ought to lay off of Diamond Dave. Seriously, he is one of the most positive fans I've met. The man never leaves the bandwagon, and that counts every Cyclone sport. It wouldn't hurt to have many more Diamond Dave-type fans.

    He also said, when describing the specialist, as being someone in high school who was used to fielding punts and was fast. I don't know if this was truely an indication of someone they specifically have targeted or not. Any thoughts? I would have thought it would be easier to recruit a JC player to fill this spot, but then we all know that GC does not recruit a lot of JC players.

    What I really want to know is- are there any Diamond Dave's restaurants around anymore? I always liked that place. I just found their website and checked locations, and they still list a location in Ames at North Grand... That location has been closed for several years now hasn't it?

    The one in Cedar Falls was great when I went to UNI. 2 for 1's every day and karoke on wednesday nights. Nothing like getting drunk and trying to sing a little stairway.
