Little guys like Sproles and Welker and hopefully Reeves and Beshears for us work their ***es off to prove themselves. You dont have to be tall to make a big difference in college football.

6'4" 247. That is a nice frame size.

I really like playmakers. Hate to tell you guys, size isn't everything. Look at Sproles in San Diego. Same impact at the next level as he had in college.

Our new OC is supposedly a wizard at opening up the playbook and the field too. Should be fun watching how he uses the tools given him.

Well go to the recruiting sites. They don't post a ton of 4.3s. It is very seldom that they post something under 4.4. They absolutely do not overstate speed. They get numbers from viable sources and do not call the recruit to see what they run. That is why I like the sites. They give numbers that are proven and not made up. I bet he runs a 4.3. As far as a "football player" who knows, but the kid has wheels. I see him as maybe a slot corner sometimes, but for the most part I see him as special teams and a slot reciver or maybe HB at ISU.

I would bet piles of money that he doesn't. Doesn't mean he isn't fast.

If he's really 5-8, that's not that small. We've had top receivers at that height in the past. Speed and moves made the difference. And JJ was 5-6 if I remember correctly. At DB, that size is not a problem.

I'm hoping we can hold onto Reeves and Beshears. I feel like they bring a ton of athleticism to the table.

Here are a couple of Beshears (sorry that isn't the topic but I just thought I would share)

Very impressed with both videos. The thing I like about the Breashers video, it had SEVERAL plays on it, most just have 2 or 3 highlight plays. Every time he touches the ball it seems to be a highlight.

I've had a fan-love thing for DJ since watching his video at the time of his commitment. First time I've seen any video of Jeremy - electrifying player.

Both kids are Texans. Tom Herman just finished a season as OC at Rice (a Texas institution) in which he had two receivers with more than 1300 yards receiving . . . each!

If Beshears or Reeves believe they have better opportunities elsewhere after being promised - and accepting - Cyclone scholarships, a U.S. Senate investigation should be initiated ;-)

I really want to see Beshears on the field next year and not have him redshirt. He can flat out move. Looks like he was made for Herman's system.

I am guessing he meant as a punt returner in addition to kick returner. We need a guy to excel there, and Reeves could be that guy. We haven't had a threat of a good punt return in at least 3 seasons.

I will post a follow up video to YouTube before you all leave school for the Summer. I guarantee it will have you all dying for Football Season to start.

Right now I have a highlight video to complete for a Junior LB that does not have offers yet. I also have to finish the season highlight video for the Texas Division I State Champion Allen Eagles!!!

Reeves was a huge part of that championship Run.

    Cheers,

Here is a Teaser Video of the Texas State Semi Final Game. Watch for #5 @

The 4.32 40 was timed by the team in Spring 08 workouts. Jeremy was presented the Fastest Player Award at the Spring Game.

If I had a pile of money to bet and you had a pile of money to bet, I bet I would be walking away with your pile of money!!
