Doesn't look we're putting together a class to compliment last years promising players.Stealing recruits from Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Wyoming, and Missouri State doesn't look good. The kids are DBs and ATHs and run 4.5 40s......hope their putting on 50 pounds and switching positions or we'll be real slow in the future

i think you are judging this recruiting class way too early. I am actually pretty excited about some of the guys that have already verbaled and look forward to others we get.

I too am pretty excited. Hopefully they'll put some of the bigger names left on the board on our list. I like the kind of athletes we're getting.

If they actually run 4.5 40s we will be in great shape! Everyone exaggerates on their 40 times, 4.5 40s for college or high school players is actually pretty dang fast! If you dont believe me take a look at NFL Combine results.

I agree. I'm not one to even pay attention to recruiting until it is signing day, but I've heard that we've been pretty successful skimming off the top at K-State after Prince being fired. Sounds like a few good o-linemen from KC on the line.

I do not know anything about recruting but, almost every year we are ranked low and we have not been good for a long time. That being said if the coaches like them and they want to were a cyclone uniform I like them too. (unless they suck)

I think that a few people from this recruiting class will really make a difference in the coming years. I think some of these kids are diamonds in the rough. If the coaches like em', I like em.

Pessimist.... At least have some hope... Personally, I couldn't be any more impressed with talent evaluation by the current staff. We were the only school that offered Carpenter last year and look at him now. Seriously, have some faith.

That is saying a lot. Hopefully we can grab a couple of 4 stars and bring in some more speed to compliment what we already have..

Give it time...look at some of the guys Chiz has brought in already...LJ, Sed J, Darius Darks...these guys can all play. I think this years recruiting will be just fine.

The class is already over half done and the season isn't even over yet. The staff wouldn't have accepted commitments from the recruits this early if they were fall-back recruits.

This is true. Depending on the type of timing system they used (probably automatic/on movement) it will give you about .24 seconds slower than a "hand" timing system. So, if they are running 4.5 40's, you can expect their "unoffical/hand time" to be around 4.2-4.3 seconds. Which is pretty quick.
