Oh, call me crazy, but OU is going down. I'm not talking about this weekend, I'm talking about the next few years. Their recruiting has gone down (relatively speaking) and their constantly floundering on the national stage has people looking at them as the OSU of the Big12. Unlike the Big10, the Big12 teams won't allow a down year to go unchallenged. I can see OU having a Michigan like performance within the next 4 years. Seems a lot of Cyclones were in fact interested. The numbers are objective and interesting to all Big 12 football fans - you can just ignore the assumptions if you'd like. I wouldn't say they were "without support," though.
I actually agree somewhat about OU. If you look at the drop in NFL players they've produced, you could surmise a future drop. And, its once vaunted defense looks pretty pedestrian this year.
