ISU FB Recruits Playoff Updates

Here's some playoff updates from some ISU FB Recruits:

James White, Dallas Skyline

Skyline advanced to the third round of the Texas 5A Division I Playoffs. In the first round they defeated Rowlett, 40-21. In the second round Skyline defeated DeSoto, 51-26. Next up, Houston Cy-Woods, 2 P.M. Saturday @ Waco ISD Stadium.

Jeremy Reeves, Allen

Allen has advanced to the third round of the Texas 5A Division I Playoffs. In the first round, Allen defeated South Grand Prarie, 27-14. In the next round they defeated Coppell, 56-28. Next up, Odessa Permian, 4 P.M. Friday @ Texas Stadium

D.J. Beshears, Denton Ryan

Denton Ryan advanced to the third round of the Texas 4A Divsion I playoffs. First round they defeated Birdville, 46-41. Second round, Ryan beat Mansfield Timberview, 49-14. Next, Wolfforth Frenship, 7 P.M. Friday @ Lubbock

Ryan Mosby, Rockwall-Heath

Rockwall- Heath has advanced to the third round of the Texas 4A Division II. In the first round, they beat Frisco Centennial, 49-14. In the second round, they defeated Dallas Hillcrest, 58-21. Next up, Ennis, Noon Friday @ Texas Stadium

Beau Blankenship, Norman North

Norman North lost to perennial Oklahoma HS FB power Tulsa Union in the second round of the Oklahoma 6A playoffs, 49-14. North defeated Edmond Memorial in the first round, 31-0.

Jacques Washington, Owasso

Owasso lost in the first round of the Oklahoma Class 6A playoffs to Broken Arrow, 32-0

Deon Broomfield, Palm Bay Bayside

Bayside lost to undefeated Delray Beach Atlantic in the first round of the Florida Class 5A playoffs, 33-7

Troy Butler & Taylor Martin, Antelope Valley CC [CA]

Antelope Valley lost in the first round of the Southern California JUCO Playoffs to #1 seed College of the Canyons, 41-17.

i saw on recruitingplanet that Troy Butler graduates in Dec. Will he enroll for 2ns semester? I hope so.

I believe that for both he and Martin, that was a prime point in recruiting them. Much like a certain wideout last year--who didn't manage to graduate.

To add:

A.J. Klein (Kimberly, WI)

Kimberly won the Division (2 or 3) state title. Klein had 6 tackles in the title game and made a key block on a special teams return for a touchdown.

You can find the details on the JSOnline website. I've got a couple things to take care of that I don't have time right now...

He should have blocked a couple of punts in that game as well. Dive, man!

Updates from this weekend:

James White, Dallas Skyline
Skyline advanced to the 5A Division I, Region 2 final after beating Houston Cy-Woods, 35-21. White had 148 yards rushing and 2 TDs, one on 4th and 2 to seal the deal for Skyline. Next up, The Region 2 final vs Round Rock Stony Point, 2 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco.

Jeremy Reeves, Allen
Allen beat Odessa Permian, 28-22 to advance to the 5A Division I Region 1 final against Euless Trinity

D.J. Beshears, Denton Ryan
Denton Ryan lost to Wolfforth Frenship, 38-35 in the 4A Division I third round.

Ryan Mosby, Rockwall Heath
Rockwall Heath advanced to the 4A Division II, Region 2 final by defeating Ennis, 17-14. Rockwall Heath faces Sulphur Springs in the regional final, 7:30 p.m. Friday at Texas Stadium

Sorry, I didn't see this right away, then it took me a while to find him. Christian Graham, remember him? From Joliet JC?

I'm not sure where he ended up playing. Grand Valley State, I think, but I don't think he made it there, he's not on the roster.

Apparently he signed with Grand Valley (his brother plays at Michigan), but ended up at Delta State, where he caught 13 passes for 146 yards in nine games.
