33,771
The amount of season tickets sold for the 2008 season per the letter I just got from the AD. 2nd most in the history of the program. I don't recall what the total was last year, but I do not think it dropped as much as some have predicted. Next year will be very telling imo.

Re: 33,771
Someone's gotta say it:
Does this include student tickets?

Re: 33,771
Would like to see how that number comes to be as I have heard they considered selling (2) Applebee's minpaks = 1 season ticket.
I hope that number is those that paid full price for their desired section and not fuzzy math, but my guess is it includes some fuzzy math with the Applebee's mini paks.

What else did that letter say? I'm interested in how they will try to spin the PR machine coming off 2-10.

2 Applebees minipacs = 1 season ticket. If more than 1000 Minipacs sold 1.75 Appl;ebees = 1 season ticket. If more than 1777 Applebees sold, then 1 Applebee = 1.25 season tickets. If the person never utilized the Missouri game, 1.33 person counted as a tribuite for the donation to the university. If verified Applebees people bought a hot dog, a soda, and parked at the good lot, then multiplier for season ticket is increased by 20 %.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

You are right. One scenario is:
Blastoff for 2009 now. Three....two....one win..
I know, that is horrible. We need to winm six before 2010 to help recruiting and stay respectable. That means, Iowa will lose next year.

Thank-you
We saw the foundation Chizik is building.
No increases in 2009
KSU game at Arrowhead will be sold outside of season tickets.
Iowa single game tickets hillside only.
Renewal dates will be in May 2009

Re: 33,771
From a marketing standpoint I would give season ticket purchasers a break on the KSU game at Arrowhead. Not only would it be a goodwill gesture, it is easy to commit 6 monhts in advance when your calander looks empty and you are already writing a big check. I expect a large ISU contingent either way.
