Have you heard of Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown??

He was the Offensive coordinator who utilized both of them.

Better yet, Jason Campbell and Cade McNown...

Pretty good resume, has California, SE, and midwest ties...

    Bill Walsh, west coast offense...

    Interesting.......

    makes sense I suppose.

Mentored Cade McNown and Jason Campbell. Had a West Coast play action philosophy, prior to taking on traditional run-first Auburn offense.

This would be a pretty good pick-up if true, IMO, from my quick research.

    Re: Al Borges new OC?

I talked to some of my SEC gurus here in the office. If we land Borges, it would be a HUGE hire. I guess Auburn alums referred to him as "Gorgeous Borges", he is supposed to be an awesome OC.

This would be an amazing hire, but I think its just someone stating the obvious that he is a candidate. Wasn't he the OC when Chizik was the DC there?

    Re: Al Borges new OC?

I think that because he has experience with QB's and multiple RB's he could really utilize our personel. That is if we really have the depth at RB that we think we do.

He also has a lot of experience so he could probably run the offense by himself without much help/observation by Gene.

I think Robinson would be an awesome west coast back too, he could have some huge receiving numbers... Does anyone know how Bo's hands are? With his size you would think he would be a decent West Coast back too...

He was the OC in 2004 when Auburn had their perfect season (Chiz was the DC). Could be a excellent combo for ISU.

I've seen Bo's hands. I know that he has 2 of them and it looked like he had all 10 of his digits. That's really all I know.
