Do you honestly think that Mac and Pollard have a good relationship? Do you really? Pollard fired him! Would you have a good relationship with your boss if he fired you? I bet not.

McCarney is just along for the ride.

Florida is in the hunt for a National Championship darned near every year (this is their second BCS Title Game in the last 4 years). They have a super head coach in Meyer and a great DC in Charlie Strong. The D-line coach certainly has some impact but you take away McCarney and put someone else in that slot and I doubt the outcome of this season is any different.

I am sick of the McCarney fawning!

First of all, as you point out, Florida would have to win before your fantasy call would take place - not a gimme. Second of all, we already have a head coach with a national championship ring that earned it as a coordinator on another team - Texas. Perhaps your snide comment would be more appropriate and funnier if Mac could earn one as a head coach, or if Mac could at least get his team to a title game as a head coach to compete for one. None of those things have ever happend as far as I know.

Good for him...I am sure he would rather be taking teams to mid-level bowls as a head coach but who knows. All of you Mac haters need to get over it, the guy gave alot to the University and to not wish him the best is ridiculous.

I for one...will be glad when our team makes strides and the need of others to post Mac stuff subsides.

Mac was a great guy and did some decent things here...but good god....
