    I'm assuming Patterson wouldn't leave TCU so to me Turner Gill is not only the obvious choice but would be a great choice. Instant credibility and recognition in Big 12 country for recruiting, proven head coaching ability, and an offensive minded head coach which I agree usually make the best head coaches. Please JP, don't screw this up and go after Turner Gill now.

    Loney has Iowa ties, we need an Iowan not a good ol' southern boy that will drop us at first chance.

    Also not a huge fan of any Hawkeye/Nebr ties.

    I think its obvious who needs to be out new Head Coach. A guy who was a extremely hard worker and has proven himself as a winner time and time again. Who am i talking about? PETE CARROLL!!! Back in 1979, Pete Carroll was the secondary coach here at Iowa State. I think he would enjoy taking over where it all began. AND...... he is a former member of the SAE fraternity. I think I heard he already has a cot waiting for him over there in cold airs. HAHAHA
