    I agree with most of you forget this OC or DC hire bull crap. If Pollard wants to prove to us as fans that he is here to make ISU the best program in the Big 12 north. Then he needs to hire a true head coach, but one that is proven to been good and have good staff following him. This is why I think we need one of these coaches Skip Holtz , Turner Gill, or Kelley. Any of these coaches have great ties and teach the game to these young guys we have here. So to Jamie Pollard I say GET YOUR *** ON THE MOVE AND GET US A FOOTBALL COACH NOT A COORDINATIOR NOW.

    Old coach: Gene Chizik. Hired at Auburn Dec. 13.
    Candidates: Former Colorado coach Gary Barnett, Iowa wide receiver coach Erik Campbell, former Texas A&M coach Dennis Franchione, Grand Valley State (Mich.) coach Chuck Martin, Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi, Oklahoma offensive line coach James Patton.

    why would Tubberville NOT be considered? He is a good coach, this whole thing with Auburn seems like a mirror image of what happened with Tubby Smith at KU. If he's interested, that would be my pick.

    Peterson. We need a coach who has recruited to a cold-weather school, and if he can recruit to Boise and that blue field, he can recruit to Iowa State. Plus, they have had some success, althought their competition is not the Big 12, but still. Don't think we need a southern school coach again. IMHO

    Do you know WHY these names are on the list??? BECAUSE WE CAN'T GET ANYONE BETTER!!! I would love to see Turner Gill come to ISU, but let's be honest with ourselves, it ain't happenin...
