Darks to Michigan State?

One of my best friends runs for the iowa state track team and talked to Darius today on facebook. And he told him that he was going to Michigan State this is not a good sign.

**** him. If they're so upset about Chizik being a quitter, why would they go and quit on the university? Of course, I fully expect every decent player except Arnaud to transfer, because thats the way it works for us. There seems to be a lot of people who like to call other people "quitters" and then pull that **** themselves. ******* hypocrites.

Well, if true, adios. I can't blame guys for leaving - but I'll be very disappointed in those that do.

I find it odd though, a kid could be so certain and know he was leaving this quickly.

Alll the more reason for JP to act quickly on this. I assume he's already lined up interviews starting with Turner Gill I hope. We name the right coach and I believe there will be very little turnover, especially if it is Turner Gill.

Isn't this about a normal gut reaction. A buddy I work with is ready to quit and find a new job almost every day, anytime they do somehting that doesn't thrill him. Two years and he hasn't done it yet.

It's possible that he's blowing off steam right now. It's possible that he's been ready to leave for a long time, and this pushed him over the edge. It's possible that he's ticked off, and the next coach can talk him off the ledge. Who knows?

Yup. Even someone that won't be here next year feels lied to and betrayed.

I just hope most of our players take the same attitude and put a chip on their shoulders that they can do this without him.

That's a good opinion. The players didn't set up the interview for him. This is all Chizik and Auburn, and it's their right to do it.

Don't blame the players for having an emotional response.
